Originally from Toronto, I now live on a small island off the coast of British Columbia. I’ve spent time living abroad — four years in the US (suburbs of Chicago) and three years in New Zealand (Dunedin, Queenstown, and Auckland) — so I’m very comfortable switching between English spelling conventions.
I’m a mom to a teen and a tween (don’t get me started on Gen Z slang 🤣), a Border Collie / English Shepherd / Labradoodle puppy who is in her piranha phase, a neurotic (but adorable) Boston Terrier, and two bonded tabby cats who I suspect have taken out a life insurance policy on me by the way they lie in wait on the stairs.
When I’m not editing, you’ll find me out hiking, baking, doing puzzles, Reheating™ (IYKYK), or nestled between the pages of a captivating book. I believe pineapple belongs on pizza, the romance genre requires an HEA or HFN, and you can pry the em dash from my cold, dead hands.
